I am just doing some late night reflection and I am worried that the party’s offer is not yet refined enough. On the one hand we have Clegg saying we are centrist and balanced and the other hand Vince Cable persuading us to increase taxes and a Conference coming where activists might try to pull us further to the left. If people want Labour they will generally vote, join and donate to the Labour Party.
I too struggle with dilemmas over ideology, but most of the the time I am confident that a strong, stable, centrist liberal one is the best way forward.
