Turnout approx 11% is that correct or a joke?
Is it news when we hold a seat?
900 votes, 11% turnout, parish council – there’s 9,000 electors in a single ward for a parish council? Shome mishtake, shurely?

Different Kevin: don’t forget that this was in Warrington South, a seat that we’ve got a good chance of winning at the next general election but one where the Conservatives also think they have a chance. Seeing the result of the two party campaign machines go head to head is an interesting pointer for the general election – and in just the sort of Parliamentary seat where we have to be doing well if we’re going to make significant gains from Labour.
Good to win, but there’s a lot to do to make sure we’ve the victor’s share on a more significant voter turnout.
I see there was another local election in Surrey, and the T/O was only 16%.
I expect the weather was bad in both these areas.
” … Not many Dead.”? 😉
