    Lib Dems, please remember whilst all these negotiations are going on in smoke free rooms, many, like me, haven’t been voting Lib Dem all these years (in our case in Vince Cable’s constituency) so that you can let the Tories in. We have voted tactically, as have thousands of others in boroughs like ours, to keep the Tories out. Don’t let us down.

    A brief comment on the present negotiations which might break the deadlock between the lib dems and the conservative parties.

    In dividing cabinet posts between the two parties, at the very least lib dems should hold the two most important posts.

    1. Secretary of State for Schools;
    2. Secretary of State for Political Reform (including Electoral Reform).

    Such a division of responsibilities will have far reaching positive all embracing consequences which both sides should be able to sell to their rank and file. Please pass this suggestion on to your negotiators.
