LibDemVoice has two parallel sites. The first is our public blog, the thing you’re reading now. The second is our private members’ forum, which only current Lib Dem members can access.
If you’re a member and want to chat with fellow party members about any issue that’s on your mind, then why not sign up? In addition, you’ll be included in our regular surveys’ of party members’ views.
Here’s some of the most active discussions this past 7 days:
-

The latest opinion polls;
Welfare Reform – Housing Benefit;
Democracy in Ukraine;
What would you like to see in 2015 manifesto?;

Have your say on the Coop.
Why not join in the debate and share your views? (But please remember to stick to our comment policy…)

Liberals shouldn’t work behind closed doors – forward a transparent, open party!
When I was a member of the Party [resigned some months ago] I did contribute to the Members Forum and was surprised how few did use this facility.
Perhaps it is the nature of Lib/Dems, generally, not to cause a fuss – or perhaps there is another forum where the high octane discussions take place. However, given the Party’s apparent bleak future – I would thought that it was time for members to start being more outspoken.
I don’t agree with ChrisB’s comment that the Party ‘shouldn’t work behind closed doors’ – there are many who are likely to want the demise of the Party and who would make comments aimed at achieving just that on a public forum.
Is it our Christian heritage that makes Brits reluctant to speak out as this article in the New York Times [Abandon (Nearly) All Hope] suggests:
