YouTube ‘cos we want to: Brown, brown and Steen

Welcome to the latest in our occasional series of round-ups of the political videos which have caught our attention.

First up, here’s Rory Bremner’s Mika-inspired riff on Gordon Brown:

That reminds me – it’s exactly a month ago that the News of the World published its allegations about Lord Rennard’s expenses.

Can anyone tell me – has anything at all been done about investigating these allegations?

  • I think you’ll find that exactly the same investigation and outcome has taken place as occured with Messers Steen, Viggers, Hogg, Conway, McKay, Kirkbride, Wintertons and Fraser – all of whom are resigning their posts.

It’s just a shame that messers Bercow, Bone, Brady, Butterfill, Gray, Grayling, Gove, Gummer, Hazelhurst, Heathcote Amory, Jackson, Knight, Lansley, Letwin, Lewis, Liddington, Lord, Luff, Maples, Maude, Mundell, Neill, Ottaway, Penning, Pickles, Rosindell, Shephard, Spicer, Spring, Swire, Syms, Turner, Walter, Wiggin, Willets, Wilshire and Yeo all of whom have taken large sums of taxpayers cash to line their own pockets haven’t been told to go either. Perhaps you
could ask that nice Mr Cameron (who of course never asked the taxpayer to clear his wisteria) to investigate these ‘troughers’ and take action.

    Then again…
