Don’t tell me – they are springing Frank Luntz!

There is no such thing as a Luntz-free leadership election.

Great, there goes any chance of me actually sleeping tonight! :O

Nick will be looking forward to this – I heard he was keen on a proper rematch after the QT score-draw. ;-)

Personally, I’m not sure I can cope with another installment!

I’m assuming the second apology from Chris, published on his site at 10am, is what the chief whip told him to say. As such it leaves me with the impression that the chief whip is a pr*ck, and that Nick is misguided in forcing the issue. No doubt JP will raise it though.

If anyone from team Huhne is reading this, I’m warming to your candidate with each passing day.

    QT – Huhne 1 Clegg 0
    PS – Huhne 1 Clegg 1
    NN – Paxman 2 Huhne 1 Clegg 1

Oddly enough all was sweetness and light at the Worthing hustings last night. A question from the floor about “spinning against each other” elicited a graceful apology from Chris (for the CC document) and a graceful acceptance of the apology from Nick – hope this means no official complaint.

A look at the (retitled) CC makes me think it was an internal briefing document not intended for the press at all.

Pretty equal on the speeches at Worthing but Chris nailed it on the questions.

At least the election for the leadership is getting more coverage. Let’s hope this will be positive.

I’m looking forward to this, whoever is Leader will have to be able to cope with ‘trial by Paxman’.

I agree with Liam’s scores to date. I also think that Dimbleby bowled Clegg a ‘googlie’ and Sopel did the same to Huhne. So the BBC so far has been equally fair (or unfair) to both.

I’ll declare tonight’s result after the match not before….

    Ref my posting at 14.

3-2 to Chris tonight, so 5-3 on aggregate by my reckoning.
