“Disgraceful but predictable” – Ed Davey on failure to publish full report

So it looks like Sue Gray’s report will not be as illuminating as it could be. And No 10 has apparently said it won’t publish the whole thing once the Met Police Enquiry is complete.

Ed Davey said

Boris Johnson must confirm that the full report will be published as soon as possible. Every day it is delayed prolongs the pain for the millions across the country who just want answers and for justice to be done.

    Even now (4.19pm), despite pleas from both sides of the House, Johnson refuses to guarantee that he will publish the full Gray Report when allowed to do so.

    By any standards the quality of leadership in our country has slipped to an all time low, I just hope and pray that the electorate are not taken in by insincere apologies?
