The link to the Guardian doesn’t seem to work (links to BBC). I love the quote in the Yorkshire Post:
“Shipley’s Tory MP . . . added that given how hostile the Lib Dems had been in the past to tougher law and order policies, his concern was that this is just a panic reaction to the Yorkshire poll’s published in the Yorkshire Post last week that showed how public support for the party was crumbling under the leadership of Menzies Campbell.”
Yup, our national policy is a panic reaction to a poll published in the Yorkshire post!
Thanks for spotting the broken link – now fixed.
I’d be more worried about the national polls showing our support crumbling!
And I am still worried that the other parties don’t see any point in really rubbishing our ideas. They should be like attack dogs on stuff like this but looks like they couldn’t be bothered. It means we’re not a threat.
Like this morning’s ICM poll in the Guardian?
Ahead of our launch the Conservatives produced a briefing pack for journalists that set out why they view the LD’s to be ‘soft’. Same old rubbish about drugs, porn etc. They do take it seriously, especially when Cameron is now exposed hugging hoodies.
If the only message that comes from this is to say to the Tories ‘you come after us on crime in these local elections and we will take you to the cleaners’ I’d be happy
Mostly left-wing organisations reporting left-wing claptrap!
I take it our troll friend favours capital and corporal punishment? Almost all Tory members do. Trouble is, their leader doesn’t.
What punishment did Reginald Maudling and Neil Hamilton deserve, Mr Troll?
Remember that “Private Eye” front cover: “Watch Out! There’s a Maudling About!”
