I assume these are from the BBC TV play “VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for Nigel Barton” starring Keith Barron in the title role!

A wonderful clash of values and masterly ear for dialogue that propelled Dennis Potter from one time political hopeful to award-winning playwrite is on display in the first clip.
Cross purposes on doorsteps will no doubt ring bells!
I see that very little has changed. That kind of doorstep racism is still rife on both sides of the door.
