And here it is:

What no stunt? Where was the bungee jump?
Would you like some motherhood with your apple pie?
Thanks for the 9% council tax rise in Shropshire. It’s very much appreciated.
Wrong message! Pandering to Kemi Badenough! A steeple is not a church roof! It was only of value to controlling or majority Lib Dem councils or even where they had a ‘group’, so why didn’t he talk to the councillors who deliver as to what they’ve achieved? There was no support for LPs that need encouragement to get even one Lib Dem councillor elected. Some local areas have forgotten what the Lib Dems stand for, if they ever knew or cared!
And there we have it. Nit-picking about whether Ed is on a church roof or a steeple!!!! That’s not the point. The message is right and the imagery is right. Stop nit-picking and get campaigning. If you don’t agree with the message, why are you here?
Like the Heineken advert, we need to reach the people that other parties don’t reach. Why is the Green Party doing so much better than us at the moment? What have we lost? Even though tactics got us 72 MPs, our national vote did not increase much. Ignoring the areas with no Lib Dem representation at local or national level does not help long-term. to get Lib Dem councillors talking about the difference they can make was a constructive suggestion. Remember Nick Clegg’s party political broadcast on ‘broken promises? That didn’t help our pledges not to increase tuition fees. Wake up to reality! Did we suffer 231 lost deposits in the 2024 General Election? All less than 5%.
