Conference twittering

Here’s another interesting way of making the technology go a little bit further.

The Twitter user @PartyConference has suggested a hashtag taxonomy to bring together a variety of twitterers in a common purpose.  If you’re twittering from Lib Dem party conference, why not add the text #LibDem08 to your message?

    Great news!

    So often, with all these problems in the world, I find myself thinking “you know, what we really need is just a hashtag taxonomy”!

    Please tell me I’m not the only reader of this to have no idea what you are talking about - but whatever a hashtag taxonomy may be (and I’m not sure I’d like to bump into one on a dark night), I’m glad it should be useful for the twitterers…
