Defection from the Conservatives

David Acock, Conservative Borough Councillor for Eastfield Ward, Northampton from 2003 to 2007, has left the Tories to join the Lib Dems. Mr Acock said: “Only the Lib Dems have show consistent principles in opposing ID cards from the start, the war in Iraq and in defending our civil liberties.”

  • Many Tories could follow, as the Liberal Democrats are looking to join with Labour on the Basis that the Constitution will be changed to allow some Proportional Representation, so putting them in greater power than they are now.
    Anyway Dave Camerons followers are liberal conservatives. I reckon that the defection is the forerunner of an espionage plot.
