Did Labour bribe Birmingham drug addicts to steal votes?

That’s one of a series of allegations made by BBC’s Newsnight this week. The report includes a series of people talking to camera alleging a range of electoral fraud by Labour, including one drug addict saying he was paid £5 per vote he cast, pretending to be someone else each time.

    On another Birmingham related issue -those of you who who were at the Birmingham Hodge Hill by-election and remember the insults directed at our candidate, Nicola Davies (refered to as Nokia Davies by our Labour opponents) will be delighted to learn that her opponent, Liam Byrne, now the Home Office minister was today fined £1oo for using a mobile phone when driving.

    Let’s hope it wasn’t a Nokia.
