Gosport makes it four: Tories lose another council

I thought now was a bad time to be a Conservative Parliamentary candidate, but it’s almost as bad being a Conservative council leader – with three four councils in a week moving out of Conservative control.

The latest is Gosport, where the Conservative leader and his minority administration walked out after losing a vote.

  • Their minority administration in Vale of Glamorgan was booted out last week too (by Labour/some Indies/part of PC)

  • Crikey, it’s hard work keeping up with all these council and candidate problems 🙂

H-Lad Don’t show your ignorance there are no council elections in either Gosport or Vale Of Glamorgan next May and this May the Conservatives lost overall control .

  • Mark Senior – you really are extremely rude (even if I say, by LibDem standards). I do not claim to be a party bigwig, just a “mere” member as you no doubt see us. No wonder I won’t get involved with my local party – they are all just like you.

There’s no need to act like ToryLabour to party comrades!
