It’s not a good afternoon to be a Tory MP

a) Patrick Mercer quits as a front-bencher because of his comments about black soldiers.

b) David Mundell‘s comments about Tory MSPs (in brief: they’re crap) are leaked.

Oh dear.

I agree – not a good *day* to be a Tory MP. Is there a good *year* to be a Lib Dum MP?

Also a good afternoon to sack your ‘head of press’ Mark Littelwood?

That’s funny – an article about a Tory MP claiming that institutional racism is an OK sort of thing, and all of a sudden this place is packed with Tory trolls wanting to change the subject.

Would be very interested to hear your opinions on Mercer, twohorse. How do his, er, interesting views sit with the rank and file of the nice cuddly Cameroonie Tory party?
