The Mail on Sunday reports:
As a Labour candidate in a working class area of Liverpool, glamorous 28-year-old Londoner Luciana Berger has gone to great lengths to prove her down-to-earth credentials.
The privately-educated friend of the Blairs’ son Euan has spent months canvassing on jobs, schools and hospitals.
And such is her devotion, the former management consultant has even ditched a car with a £5,000 personalised numberplate spelling out her name.

What is the story here? All this says is a Labour candidate has changed her car.
Don’t fall for the Mail’s anti-women stance. I have a PhD and been a local Councillor for 25 years. The number of PhDs in my ward cannot be more than 20, but then I’m male so the Mail would perhaps concentrate on my policies and not my car.
It doesn’t matter what car she drives or what her number plate is.
She’s up against the excellent Colin Eldridge who lives in the heart of the Wavertree constituency, has an excellent record as a local campaigner, and deserves to be the first Lib. Dem. MP in Liverpool since David Alton.
I worked with Luciana 10 years ago when she got bought that number plate as a birthday present from her parents! What a joke the Mail is!
You could look at it from a different angle. People of my constituency, a nice car complete with a personalised number plate could be yours if you work hard and become successful.
