David Cameron and the Labour hoodie

Written by Mark Pack on 7th July 2007 – 4:26 pm

And in news from the other parties in Sedgefield … there’s this clip on YouTube of a confrontation between Labour activists, David Cameron and a hoodie.

Handy hint for Labour person on the right - holding the poster the right way up helps.

At least camerton isn’t pretending to be from the area? or perhaps now he can say he’s done an ethnographic study in the vicinity.

  2. Stuart Says:

This is really puerile stuff. I don’t think that these sorts of spoiler stunts ever do the party carrying them out any good. Is anyone more likely to vote Labour because they try to ruin a Tory campaign visit?

  3. Chris Paul Says:

You may be right Stuart. I certainly wouldn’t waste my time on such a stunt. But what about the point about “being local”? That’s a really important issue for Lib Dem supporters is it not? If you can make the case persuasively from a Lib Dem perspective on why being a local candidate is irrelevant I’ll be very grateful and we need not put off with this mantra carried to the ridiculous lengths of a few metres for ever more.

  4. Chris Paul Says:

Did I say put off? I meant put up. Sorry.

  5. john Says:

who is pretending to be local? was the previous MP a local lad. No of course he was not so lets stop this nonsense and get on with being adults. The alleged labour activists that are behaving like fools are not helping labour to retain the seat but are handing it to the lib dems on a plate.

  6. Miles Says:

“Be a gentleman - use the message board”
What sort of sexist cobblers is that?
