Call for contributors, editors, and facilitators

Lib Dem Voice is averaging about 2000 visits a week now. Which is nice, but not enough. More activity = more visitors = a stronger independent community for Lib Dem activists, run by Lib Dem activists.

I’m looking for volunteers to join the Lib Dem team as:

  • Regular contributors – you would be prepared to churn out an article at a semi-regular interval on a subject on which you have specialist knowledge. All levels of commitment considered. Please e-mail Rob to discuss.
  • Editors – I’d like to move to a position where all contributions are read by at least one other person before being put up, to check spelling, layout, links etc. If you know WordPress, and you’ve got a good grasp of the English language, please do e-mail me.
  • Discussion board facilitators – you enjoy a good chinwag and would engage in starting and moderating conversations in our discussion forum. You’ll give the place a buzz, and ensure there’s always something new for people to read. You’ll be able to politely but firmly intervene if discussion participants fail to treat each other with mutual respect. If you talk too much, and would like an extra outlet, please e-mail me.

One of the other things Lib Dem Voice does is give people who don’t want to run their own blog a space to write a one-off piece, or irregular contributions, which reach an audience of at least a couple of thousand. If you would like to contribute a blog post, please do read on.
