Caroline Pidgeon judged winner of ITV/LBC mayoral debate

Mike Smithson had no doubt about the winner of last night’s ITV London/LBC mayoral debate.

And he wasn’t alone. Caroline’s strong performance attracted praise from unexpected quarters.

    BBC have just said that Caroline’s interview in a taxi (!) with Norman Smith is on the Victoria Derbyshire show about 9.35am tomorrow.

  • I tend to disagree with the view that she won this debate, I thought it was fairly even. If anyone shone I thought it was the lady from the Greens. That said I caught a few minutes of the “interview in a taxi” earlier this evening and from the little I saw she came across very well.

  • Mike Smithson is a Liberal Democrat, so “Well he would say that, wouldn’t he?”
