Campaigns Officer (Full Time, Manchester)

Local Government Scale SO1-SO2 (Currently £25,440 – £29,558)

Work with the leading campaigning organisation within the Liberal Democrats as one of our two national Campaigns Officers.

We are looking for someone who can bring their own campaigning experience and ideas –not necessarily gained within the Liberal Democrats – to help us enable Liberal Democrats to campaign effectively in our communities and win elections. Experience and ability around online campaigning will be an advantage.

Membership and Marketing Officer (Full Time, Manchester)

Work with the leading campaigning organisation within the Liberal Democrats in this new post of national Membership and Marketing Officer.

We are looking for someone who can help us deliver on our ambitious plans to grow our membership and develop our income from fundraising and individual giving. We are looking for someone who has experience of working in membership, fundraising and/or marketing who can bring their own ideas to help us grow our membership and fundraising.

Development Officer (21 hours a week, 8 month contract, location flexible)

Local Government Scale SO1-SO2 (Currently £25,440 – £29,558 pro-rata)

Work with the leading campaigning organisation within the Liberal Democrats in a temporary (c. 8 months) post with the prime responsibility of supporting our candidates in the 2017 metro-mayor elections, but also work as part of ALDC’s wider Development Officer team to support the 2017 election.

ALDC currently employs five Development officers, around Britain, to support Liberal Democrats on the ground. In May 2017 three to five areas will elect metro Mayors. ALDC is seeking to deliver an externally funded project to ensure that our candidates and their teams in these areas receive appropriate support, training and mentoring to enable them to perform effectively.

The deadline for applications is 12.00 noon on 5 September 2016.
