Team #INtogether want to say a massive THANK YOU to all our LibDem activists and friends who hit the streets last Saturday and made our first National Day of Action a huge success!
Last Saturday, the Liberal Democrats proved that we are back, fighting harder than ever. Over the course of the day, over 1000 LibDems across England, Scotland and Wales hit the streets, holding over 200 street stalls and talking to countless people, making a positive, progressive case for Britain to remain in Europe.
Thank you so much to all of you for your hard work, not just on the ground but online, where hundreds of photos were shared, showing just how much fun a LibDem campaign can be. Throughout the day, our #INtogether campaign was trending on Twitter and we have been inundated with positive messages on social media since.
While Labour, Conservatives and Greens also had their people out, it was the LibDems who were out in force, holding well over twice as many street stalls as the Conservatives and Greens combined, and pipping Labour to the post with nearly 40 more stalls than they held!
It couldn’t be clearer that when it comes to grassroots campaigning on Europe, it is we Lib Dems who can make the greatest contribution.
And now we are asking you to do it all again!
Next Saturday, 28th May, we are holding our second National Day of Action and we are asking you to help us to make just as much noise and show just as much support for the #INtogether campaign as you did last week. We need you to help us reach out to as many people as possible and show them that Europe isn’t just about economics but about family, friends and an open, outward-looking Britain which we can be proud of.
Thank you again for all your support! We can’t wait to join you all out on the streets up and down the country next Saturday to make the case for #INtogether.
PS You can order more literature and other resources HERE! Don’t forget to upload your street stall to our events page or contact us let us know what you have planned so we can help you promote it far and wide!
You can see more photos on our Facebook page here.

It’s good to see people having fun in politics. I enjoy talking and reading about politics most of the time, but sometimes I get angry and not just briefly but for hours at a time.
It helps to remember that the vast majority of people are good people, even if they disagree with you.
Anyway, good to see the campaign! Let’s embrace the Pro EU position, but still be welcoming to liberals who disagree.
Nice to agree with you, Eddie.
Channel 4 News on 17/5/16 did a special on ethnic minorities.
A good majority for IN, but a lower likelihood for turnout to vote.
The fact that we had more stalls than Labour is rather worrying given that their membership is probably about six times ours. Lots of Labour voters will only vote Remain if they can see that “their” Party is backing it with some enthusiasm.
