Mixed views on the idea in the Lib Dem Voice room under the seating in the Liverpool arena, we have to report.

From what I heard it was his own idea - I’m not sure whether any of his colleagues tried to talk him out of it…
For what it’s worth I think it’s neat - all party leaders should have their own signature vehicle, and I like the idea of having one that you can just plug into the wall!
My visions of him driving it round the corridors in Parliament were premature though: I’m reliably informed by a colleague that it’s against the law to ride a conveyance in a Royal Palace.
