Fantastic news. My learned friend will be an excellent candidate.
Did Jill Fraser not run this time?
Jill Fraser was also on the shortlist.
Jeremy Hargreaves, thanks.
I thought she would have been a very strong opponent for Labour with her high local profile (having stood before and her new Mayor role)
We all love Jill but Jo has been like a busy bee since she moved into the area.
She has the energy of the youth which will be need to win this seat.
