Why Mark Pack’s awaiting a visit from Special Branch

Home Office Watch highlights the story of a Manchester man who was arrested under suspicion of photographing a sewer cover. He was held for two days, had his DNA taken and stored, and then released without charge.

And now secret footage has been discovered of our very own Mark Pack displaying some very suspicious behaviour indeed.

If you don’t see him posting for a while, you’ll know why…

Now, surely, every half active Lib Dem campaigner has had a photograph taken, usually in a dodgy looking group, pointing at a drain cover, kerb stone or pothole. Maybe that’s the plan – Labour’s going to gather up all our Focus leaflets and submit them to the CPS for actioning…:)

These actions by Greater Manchester Police seem to be completely unjustified. Have they anything to say for themselves?

Not surprised Dr. Pack has an entire book on sewer covers. This is the man who comes from the sewer and indulges in sewer politics!

The old East German Railways (Deutsche Reichsbahn -DR) guidelines on photography said, “Film-, photo and sound-recodings for non-commercial purposes, taken from publically accessable areas of DR or within trains, are permitted so long as operations and traffic flows are not disrupted or endangered” * This was F****** East Germany for ****** sake. Meanwhile in Brown’s Britain you are arrested for photographing sewer covers.

You realise that this is more serious than Manchester.

When he was searched, they didn’t find any photos on Stephen Clarke.

It could be because he is a bloody foreigner, or because he is fostering criminal intent, or it could be that there have been some shady dealings at his Bitter World of Bile themepark.

Frankly, I am surprised anyone feels safe walking Cowley Street alone. Lock ‘im up Special Branch. Lock ‘im up good.

Alternatively, he is wearing a tie in that video, so Alix could have shopped him to the rozzers.

    Ah, Pack-the-(ruck)sack! He is n ow a Mark-ed man…

More seriously, this does go to show just how warped and twisted matters have become since the introduction of what appear to be excuses for draconian anti-liberty laws, sold on the basis of being “anti-terror” but in reality turning out to be nothing of the sort.

I think all of us in the “political awareness” arena need to make sure that we would never fall into the same trap, if and when we might be in positions of power.
